About Luann Lavin
Luann Lavin is a Nationally Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing as a primary care provider in Arizona since 2016; prior to that in Columbus, Ohio since 2009.
Luann received her Master’s degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and practiced in acute care as a hospital administrator, nurse manager, and acute care nurse prior to obtaining her post-master’s education as a Nurse Practitioner.
Presently, Luann enjoys working in outpatient family medicine and helping to prevent patients from illness and hospitalization. Wellness practice can focus on balance of micronutrients, diet, hormonal balance, gut health, relaxation and sleep as well as significant lifestyle changes to address areas of breakdown in the body. Most importantly, Luann maintains keeping a positive outlook to attain whole-body health.
Luann’s education is deep rooted in diagnosing traditional disease processes and traditional medical treatments, and she has added to that by studying Functional and Integrative medicine, which is best described as getting at the root cause of disease. Luann is an 8 year member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and is a proud author of Nursing text book “Decision Making in Nursing, Acute Care.”
